Hello! My name is Eli, which is short for Elisabeth. I live in the state of Washington and attend conventions here, but you'll probably hear me talk about New Zealand like it's my home. It's not; I just have an inordinate number of friends there.
My in-game town is called Harlekin, with a mayor named Eli and another human resident called Cecil. The animals in my town as of right now (2/24) are Bluebear, Ken, Tom, Pekoe, Tangy, Cobb, Freya, Lolly, and Biskit. I am desperately trying to cycle Cobb and Ken out as I don't particularly care for them. Freya, Tom, Tangy, and Lolly are all dreamies of mine, as are Felicity, Renee, and Skye.
Outside of Animal Crossing, I enjoy Homestuck, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, hanging out with my cats, Lord of the Rings, shopping, cosplay, corsetry, cute stuff, the science fiction and horror genres, and comic books. I collect 'kawaii' stationery and stickers (Sentimental Circus, Hello Kitty, Tarepanda, Rilakkuma, etc). I'm 17 and sort of in college- my educational situation is murky and confusing due to my mental problems. Political science is my declared major. I don't have much of a social life, but New Leaf and the community surrounding it has mitigated that somewhat. I started playing Animal Crossing on the GameCube and have owned each game since. I draw a lot in my spare time and am working toward opening commissions. My favorite color is pink and my cat's name is Tesla.
I come across in this as very pretentious, and I'm sorry for that; I'm not used to typing with correct conventions and my language tends to revert to formal essay speech when I do. If you talk to me on Skype or through Tumblr asks I will see much more relaxed, but I thought it best to introduce myself in a more 'proper' manner since accepted forum decorum (heh that rhymes) varies from board to board. I hope to make some new friends and help everyone have the town of their dreams!
